  1. This William had a brother Benjamin who also came to settle in Hamsey.
  2. William of Hamsey named is first daughter Mary (not Elizabeth!).

Until further information becomes available I feel that it is impossible to favour one over the other especially as ages on burial records can be inaccurate.
