There is also a baptism of a Frances Tubb on 15 Dec 1774 dau. Joseph Tubb at Lewes St John the Baptist sub Castro. This was the same year that our Frances Tubbs was married, so maybe they were brother and sister.
Also, Tubb/Tubbs is not a very common name in Sussex - there are only 25 marriages for Tubb (and variants) between 1538 and 1837.
Also, there are burials for Fanny Tubb 9 Sep 1790, and Joseph Tubb 17 Jan 1795, at Hartfield St Mary. Joseph's burial entry says "from Forest Row".1,2,3,4

Margaret Elizabeth Tunnecliffe was Margaret ran a nursing home for births. They had quite a large house in New Plymouth which was used as the nursing home.1
Janet Nops (a 2nd great granddaughter of Margaret) writes: Amongst my grandmother's photos was a WW1 soldier who was taken in by Margaret as a child, but the parents never came back for him. He survived the war and came home to work on the farm. Unfortunately I cannot find any of his family. It would seem he didn't marry and died in an asylum.1
Janet Nops, a descendant of Margaret Elizabeth Eva, wrote: "My great great grandmother, Margaret Elizabeth was called Big Granny and had a midwifery in New Plymouth. She ruled the family and sometimes her grandchildren had to wait days to be disciplined until advice was received from Big Granny.2"
