A John Terry was a juror on a coronial inquest in Newhaven on 13 May 1769. Also on the jury was a Thomas Hollands, possibly the brother or father of John's wife, Sarah (nee Hollands).2
The parish register indicates that a tax was levied for baptisms after about 1.10.1783. However, John and Sarah were classified as paupers on all baptisms after this date and so did not have to pay.
