  In the Name of God Amen I Anne Lotter of Cowfold in the County of Sussex Singlewoman being sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory praised be God for the same doe therefore make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) Imprimus I bequeath my soule into the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body I commit to the Earth to be interred decently att the charge and discretion of my Executor hereafter named And as to my worldly goods and estate I give and bequeath the same in manner and form following Impris I give and bequeath unto my sister Elizabeth Lotter and to her daughter Anne wife of Richard Gravely and to the children of her the said Anne All my cloathes both linen and woollen (except my two best petticoates) equally to be divided amongst them and as to my two best petticoates I doe give and bequeath the same unto my neece Mary Lotter daughter of the aforesaid Elizabeth Item I doe give and bequeath unto Richard Gravely aforesaid my hogg Item I doe give and bequeath unto Mary Lotter aforesaid the summe of three pounds of lawful money of England to be paid unto her within six monthes next after my decease All the rest of my goods chattels and estate whatsoever (after my debts legacies and funeral charges and expences are paid and satisfied) I doe give and bequeath unto my nephew John Lotter sonne of my aforesaid sister Elizabeth Lotter ^who I doe hereby make my Executor of this my will^ And lastly I doe hereby revoake all former Wills by me heretofore made And doe declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this sixth day of July in the year of our Lord Christ 1702.
