nuncupative of Joane Breache widow while she lived of Warbleton in the diocese of Chichester and made in the year of our lord god 1597
Being of perfect memory and understanding who disposeth of her goods by words of mouth as followeth:
First her will was that
Thomas Breache her son should hove one pair of her best sheets and one great spit.
Item she did will and bequeath to
Thomas Frenche's wife one petticoat and one covering and she gave also to Elizabeth Breache one old red petticoat and one platter.
Item she did further will and bequeath to
Mary Thomas one cupboard and those things that the rest of her children have that they should keep it if she herself do not like to spend it saving that Thomas Frenche should pay out of own count twenty shillings and all the rest of her goods she gave and bequeathed by this her last will and testament to her daughter Anne whom she made her sole executrix of this her last and testament.

Margaret was a widow when she married Ralph BURROUGHS in 1652 and BARNEDEN was her married name. The 1662 Hearth Tax assessment mentions a William BARNDEN in Wilmington, probably a brother of Margaret's first husband. Also mentioned is Sam BARNDEN in Litlington. The list of East Sussex contributors to the relief of Irish Protestants in 1642 includes a John BARNDEN in Litlington who donated four pence.
The East Blatchington parish records indicated that Ralph Burroughs and family were at Bishopstone at one time. Details from the parish records are:
