At this stage it is difficult to decide whether this John Breach married Elizabeth Petit in 1745 or Mary Sarjeant in 1748. I am favouring Mary Sargeant for two reasons:
1. John and Mary named one of their sons Benjamin which was a name used by the parents John Breach and Mary Moor.
2. John's brother William married an Elizabeth Sargeant, probably a sister of Mary Sargeant.
However, this is not a lot of information on which to decide, so must remain in some doubt. The family of John Breach and Elizabeth Petit are in this database and can be found using the surname index.

John Breach married Sarah Skinner, daughter of James Skinner and Susan Robins, on 6 January 1728/29 at Dallington, Sussex, England, Sarah of Burwash.2
John Breach was a shoemaker in 1738.
John's wife Sarah died in 1735 and his mother died in 1737. On 27 March 1738 the following letter was sent to the Overseers of the Poor at Lewes St Michael:
Gentlemen
There was one John Breach a shoemaker came to our towne by a certificate from you and he having now left his family they come to us and desire relief. We therefore send to you that you may fetch them to you, or we must bring them with an order from
your brother officer
J Butler
Burwash
March 27 1738.3

The Removal Order was issued 11 April 1738 to John Breach and his three children, John, Thomas and Sarah stating that Lewes St Michael was the parish where they were last legally settled.4
The removal of the children occurred and on 13 April 1738 the following invoice made out to Lewes St Michael for the cost:
The Parish of Saint Michael in Lewes. Indebted to Burwash.
1738 April 13
for keeping 3 children of John Breach from 28th of March: £0-14-0
for the charge of the order to remove them to Lewes: £0-04-0
for the charge of horses and men in bringing them to Lewes: £01-0-0
£01-18-0
April 19: 1738
Received in full of this bill
J Butler.5

John Breach's three children were baptised at Burwash. A letter from the Overseers of the Poor confirms this. We can probably infer from this that John had gained settlment at Lewes probably through employment.6
The three children were later apprenticed out by the overseers at Lewes St Michael as follows.
John Breach: 22 Aug 1741 John Breach (12 years) apprenticed to John Hemsley of East Chiltington in Westmeston, yeoman, for 12 years.7
Sarah Breach: 6 Feb 1741 Sarah Breach (9 years of age) apprenticed to John Edwards of Cuckfield, husbandman for 12 years.8
Thomas Breach: 17 Sep 1743 Thomas Breach (13 years of age) apprenticed to George Gibson, St Sepulchre, Middlesex, cook, for 11 years.9

MotherAlice Jervis
John Breach was born circa 1590 at Herstmonceux, Sussex, England. He was the son of Thomas Breach and Alice Jervis.
There are two marriages from which John Breach may have been born:
1. John Breach married Elizabeth Woodnutt on 13 Feb 1580/81 at Wartling. He is likely to have had a son named John. No baptisms for this marriage have been found.
2. Thomas Breache married Alice Jervis 11 Nov 1576 at Warbleton. Thomas's will of 1619 (Thomas of Herstmonceux) mentions a son John.
In both cases, no baptism for a John has been found. However, in Thomas Breache's will of 1619 he mentions another son Richard which adds weight to Thomas being the father as John named a son Richard.
