Note: Baptism not stated as an adult baptism but the parents given as Thomas and Mary winchester. Given Thomas died in 1805 it has to be an adult baptism. Diana Stevens writes:
I think Sarah married David LUSTED at Hailsham on 19 Feb 1818 (Banns, he of Hellingly, she otp). In 1841 there is a Sarah LUSTED age 45, charwoman, born SSX living at Horsebridge Hellingly with James LUSTED age 20, ag lab, born SSX. This means Sarah was born 1791-6, I have opted for ca 1793 to fit in with the 2 years gaps. Many of the WINCHESTER families were non-conformists including my line, luckily they used the Herstmonceux Chapel and there are records, but many of my families have blanks caused by the lack of Baptist records.1
Sarah Winchester was baptized on 3 January 1814 at St Mary, Hailsham, Sussex, England.2
