  • Anecdote*: A likely baptism for Thomas Pockney is 22 Apr 1655 (born 28 Mar 1655) at Woodmancote son of Thomas and Suzan Pockney. There is also a John Pockney bap 3 Sep 1659 (born 14 Aug 1659) to the same parents. This is relevent because there was a John and Frances Pockney living in Keymer with Thomas and Elizabeth. Woodmancote is close to Hurstpierpoint and Keymer.1
