  In The Name of God Amen, I Richard Wenham of Pevensey in the County of Sussex Labourer being weak in body but of sound and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God do hereby make constitute and appoint this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say, Imprimus I recommend my soul to the mercy of God and my body to be buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named. Item I give and bequeath unto my most dutiful and loving daughter Ann Tichbon wife of Joseph Tichbon of the parish of Pevensey, all my worldly goods, household furniture chattles, cattles and whatever else I die possessed of after my funeral expences and just debts are paid And I do hereby nominate and appoint my said daughter Ann Tichbon sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty third day of January in the year of our Lord 1700 and sixty three.
