  I have a photograph of Cyril with two children in Australia. We do not know who they are but believe them to be cousins. Cyril was a chef on a cruise liner in 1930's which I believe docked at Fremantle.

Given the wording that he died "on or after 28 June 1881" it may be that he left her and was never seen again? Perhaps he went to the Boer War and never returned? Anything is possible. Maybe something will come up with more research.
